SMED Italy

SMED, which stands for Servizi MEdici Digitali (Digital Medical Services), is an Italian company focused on meeting people’s needs for prevention, health and wellness.

The Company’s need was to develop a web portal to give healthcare professionals the possibility to book one or more of the services offered by SMED on behalf of their patients and a Mobile App to allow patients to book a visit and consult their medical records.

Through the web portal doctors and nurses can book one or more of the telemedicine services offered on behalf of their patients. The Mobile Cartella Clinica SMED App, on the other hand, is used by patients to consult all information about their medical records and to receive tele-visits from medical professionals.

NDG Srl is the first web portal in Italy run by doctors for doctors. Knowing the needs of the industry, they created a platform that allows doctors to visit their patients via encrypted video consulting.

We were asked to re-design the telemedicine web portal, alongside a Mobile App.

We developed NienteDiGrave, a Web App accessible from a web link, flanked by a first version of a Mobile App, mainly designed for the doctor, with the function of a notification centre.

Amiko

Amiko, a London-based company founded in 2015, designed Quantified Medicine, a digital healthcare platform that enables smarter management of chronic disease treatment through data capture and analysis.

The need was to develop the Respiro App, a digital platform composed of sensors that, by tracking inhaled medication usage, uses the data generated to support the choices of physicians, pharmacists and healthcare professionals, involving patients in an informed way in their health choices.

The Mobile App acts as a companion to the sensors, reminding patients when it is time to inhale a dose and providing personalised insights and feedback, powered by data and artificial intelligence to help patients achieve better results.
